It is possible to stay abroad during the 4th or 5th year. The stays abroad can be an academic exchange and/or an internship in a company or in a laboratory and take place over a year (in some rare cases a semester).Over the past 2 years, about 45% of cohorts did an exchange program and 43% did an internship. In total, 75% of the students of a cohort take part in a stay abroad program for 3 to 12 months. Regarding the exchanges, there is a big diversity in the locations (countries, universities) on a European and International scale.Every year, the department welcomes about 20 international students doing an exchange program.
